I absolutely believe that when a person has a true understanding of his/her Life, that person will always know that "Smalltime" thinking and actions will never bring the rewards that "Thinking Big" and "Acting Big" will... It's so evident in so many successful people all around us that one should think that a lot more of us would "Get a Clue!", but that is hardly the case in many, many Lives... If you keep on accepting "pennies" and small change- then that's what you will always get for your efforts, and you'll wind up with a "penny-earning" reputation, to boot! Don't even begin to think that the so-called anonymity of the internet can hide you! Your promotions always say a lot about you in public! That penurious reputation is more than just frustrating-- it can really become a cloying mind-trap that will never allow you to grow up BIG enoughand to set your sights on real adventures and challenges that can powerfully excite your imagination and boldly spice up your powerful and Creative Nature!
I certainly understand that the challenges of trying simply to survive good-old "Daily Life" can make one become robotic and mechanical-- having a Life that's been reduced to "Going Along to get Along"-- really, really frightens me, because in my opinion, that's not Life at all!
I look around me and I can see all sorts of people who are Thriving!-- What's making this difference appear in their lives?
They Simply Think, See and Act From A Truly Higher Point Of View!
On the very day that I made the decision to become a business-person, I didn't know that my very decision was an act of immense proportions... what the heck was I thinking? Didn't I get the fact that THOUSANDS of entrepreneurs and small businesses fail every day? Why didn't this scare me and send me packing to beg for another job in Corporate World? Am I a nut or a "Crazy"?... or was I just thinking differently?
A Bear Story...
After a long hike through the Worthington State Forest in New Jersey, my girlfriend (I'm male) and I were simply worn out! The steep climb up the trail to our campsite had us completely knackered and all we wanted to do was pitch the tent and grab some much needed sleep...
Soon after setting up the campsite, lighting a fire (it gets pitch dark up here at nightfall), and rolling out our sleeping bags, We tossed back a shot of good whiskey, shared a long goodnight kiss and proceeded to lay down and and pass out...
At that instant, I heard a shuffling sound coming from the woods surrounding our tent- thinking it might be other campers (this is a public campground) I came out of the tent intending to greet them...
Only it wasn't campers of the human variety- it was a huge black bear momma and three large cubs approaching our site from the woods at different angles...
I quickly urged Kate to wake up and grabbed myself a couple of pots to make some noise. Kate, a city girl who had never seen a bear, began to whimper with fright and me, p*ssed and tired, started yelling- BAD DOG!, BAD DOG! for some strange reason...
The pot-banging merely caused the bears to stop about 25 feet away and rear up on their hind legs, sniffing, growling and grunting...
This was the time for the big guns! I told Kate, who is a trained opera singer, to belt out an old Ethel Merman show tune, " I'm Looking Over a Four Leaf Clover!", as loud as she could...
That did the trick! The bears, upon hearing this racket, turned and took off at a high rate of speed!!!
The park ranger we had reported this bear encounter to was doubled over in laughter at my story and said that this confrontation-avoidance technique should be included in the ranger's and camper's guide!:)
PS: For those of you who don't know who Ethel Merman was... she was a large woman with a big and GRATING voice who sang show tunes back in the 20's and 30's...
My gratefulness to her, for allowing Kate to channel her Spirit... Ethel, you saved our butts! LOL!:)
Looking Back...
at that true story, I can see that I was a different sort of a thinker- I have been told by others that my way of seeing things, and even doing things was "just different", but I never really though so... Resourcefulness probably is a natural trait and feature for me-- I don't even think about it until it's suddenly missing... which has sometimes happened at the most inopportune moments,Has this ever happened with you, too?
Upscaling Your Life...
is not about buying the best clothing , having the flashiest sprorts car or home on the Planet- it's all about the way you approach your Life and from where you wish to go with everything that you have right now!
What I love about what I do, is that I can place high-value products and services in my portfolio for free- create business cards for that product or service, and trot on down to a fun convention, business fair, networking party and such... and "Work" the "Warm Market" with merchandise that I am truly proud of... Custom Built Homes, Luxury Autos, Yachts... whatever seems to be the theme of that gathering, or the overheard desire of that particular person or person... I don't need to own any of these items to sell any of these items...
All that's needed is a desire to have these items in your own Life- and a way to earn the money that can get you there... I keep my eyes, actions and thoughts attuned to what I desire to happen for me- and for my prospects...
My market can tell me what it wants, and the Internet will provide it, I am sure! :)
I Love My Fellow Marketers, Advertisers And Sales-Persons!
